I think i know a little more about the features of cell phones and i use the voice record button on my phone sumtimes to ( the only thing i use it for is recording clips of songs). i dont think you have to assign a button to do it. There is a button on the right side that you just press and it starts to record. But any ways, I think its only a matter of time before a good iPod/cell phone comes out that can do everything like download music to the phone over iTunes Music store, and play videos.
