&lt;p&gt;And to your comment, &quot;During times like these, GTD goes out the window.&quot;  Actually, this is the time that all of the GTD-fu pays off.  You&#039;ve done the work, organized and prepared, so you can deal with surprises.  And when time passes and you&#039;re ready to return to getting other things done, they&#039;ll all be there, waiting and ready.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;On a lighter note, for those of you who haven&#039;t met Patrick, I was reminded today just how much he looks like Lionel Richie.   What a good looking guy!&lt;/p&gt;
